Hops for Hope 5K is a twist on the traditional 5K! The event is timed and the course is certified, whether you are a runner or walker this event is for you. You can take a casual stroll with your friends and sip on beer samples throughout the course or you can run to get your best time and skip the beer stops (discounted price) or grab and go.
The 5K will start at the beautiful Mount Saint Mary Park in St. Charles and head towards Geneva on the scenic path and end back at Mount Saint Mary Park for the Award Ceremony!
THAT'S A WEIRD TWIST?! We think you mean delicious and fun! Throughout the 5K there will be Refueling Stations (Beer Stops) featuring local craft breweries handing out 3-ounce beer samples to runners.
*All runners must be 21 years or older and show a valid ID day of the race. The Award Ceremony will feature a live band, more beer and food!
**All runner's will be chip timed. Those that are walking will still receive a bib with no chip. There will be a large clock at the finish line where you can see the exact time it took you to complete the 5K.
If you would like to change to run please email
***Everyone must complete the 5K by 1:30 pm. Don't worry there is more beer at the finish line!

Rebel Soul Revival navigates through classic southern rock waters, picking up elements of funk and jam rock along the way.
Matt Keen (guitar, vocals) had been developing the idea of a pure rock and roll group based on the music he loves for some time. The name he discovered early but it took years before his vision was realized. Founded in the summer of 2014 when Matt Keen met the incredibly talented Andrew Vogt and Max Popp, Rebel Soul Revival began working in and around Chicago.
The current lineup consists of Bay St. Louis, MO native Steven Andrew Doepke (guitar, vocals) A devoted student of the blues and soul music scene Doepke elicits an unrivaled passion illustrated in his playing and performance. His addition to the effort has made all the difference.
(Drummer) Aaron Martinez joined the band in the Summer of 2015 and has been helping drive the group ever since. Originally entering into music as a metal/core drummer he truly demonstrates his versatility in RsR. He brings an energy to the band that Keen had been searching for and is one of the most exciting live drummers to watch play.
(Bassist) Kevin McMahon joined in the Winter of 2016 and brought a level of professionalism the band was in need of. He and Keen had also been friends and started in their first band over ten years ago. The band grew immensely with the addition of McMahon.
The music is getting more complex and progressive as they continue to push the limits of each genre they pursue. With their second EP 'SOUL' set to drop in April, Rebel Soul Revival is ready to hit the road again. With their second tour kicking off this July the band is poised to do big things in 2017. The essence of true rock and roll is alive and well in this band.
